People do not live by coffee, tea, or hot chocolate alone. That's why we have food all day long - from fabulous pastries and real New York City H&H bagels in the mornings to organic soups at mid-day and real Belgian waffles on the weekends

We've got to start with coffee because we're java heads: we constantly talk coffee, read coffee, try new coffees, and research brewing techniques. Our beans, from local roaster Indigo Coffee are Fair Trade and organic so we can be as socially and environmentally responsible as possible. Fair Trade tries to ensure that coffee growers get their fair share of money. Organic agriculture grows crops without the heavy dependence on chemicals that pollute ground, air, and water. We know Fair Trade and even organic farming aren't perfect systems, but they're the best solutions we have, and when something better comes along, we'll be doing it.

We make our coffee with precisely filtered water and a computer-controlled brewer to make your cup perfect. Our espresso drinks - available with whole or skim milk or even soy - benefit from one of the finest grinders available. (Many don't realize that it's the grinding that makes or breaks the drink.) Our teas are organic and loose and we fill special brewing sacks - tea bags made to order - for your cup.

When you're feeling warm, our cold infusion-brew process removes oils and acids for an iced coffee smoother and milder than you realized was possible. We have non-dairy fruit smoothies and a chocolate drink so rich you'd swear it was indulgence in a cup.
