Readings

Performance means more than music. Mocha Maya's hosts periodic readings - sometimes poetry, sometimes new theatrical works. We even put together programs for such special occasions as Halloween and Christmas.

Movies

There are great movies that don't get play outside of specialty theaters. So on occasion we present titles ranging from holiday favorites to cutting edge documentaries and even locally-produced works on our giant 84-inch screen. Drop in, grab a cup of whatever, and pull up a chair.

Open Mic Night

Another special event that happens as the whim strikes us, this is a performance free-for-all. You never know whether you'll hear a song, a poem, or a short story by local artists.
